Larchmont
The
Larchmont House is located within walking distance of the Village
of Larchmont. The house contains four bedrooms, four baths, spacious
common areas, and a beautifully landscaped yard.
Larchmont hosts the agency's annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration,
in addition to Sunday dinners and Ping-Pong Tournaments. All members
of SfC are welcome to attend these activities.
This program opened in the late 1980's with a fair ammount of community liaison work needed in order to combat enormous community apprehension and hesitiation. Published
opinions in local media were diametrically opposed in their stance on the often controversial issue of the establishment of group homes in any community. Search for
Change's commitment proved true and the house opened, broadening the geographic scope of SfC's residential programs.
